François Terrier, MD, Professor and Chairman of Radiology, Head of
Department of Radiology and Medical Informatics at the University Hospital
of Geneva, and co-founder of the NCCR Co-Me passed away on August 10, 2004,
at the age of 52, after a courageous fight against metastatic melanoma
disease.

Winner of the Research Grant for the Advancement of Women 2004

Winner of the Research Grant for the Advancement of Women 2004 is
Marie-Louise Montandon, Neuropsychologist,
Division of Nuclear Medicine, Geneva University
Hospital. With the application: Contribution to the
development of image-guided assessment of chronic
cerebral ischemia. She has been selected out of 6 applications by
the Advisory Board for the Advancement of Women
(WAB). The research grant consists of a cash
prize of CHF 20'000,-- to support research in the
field of the NCCR Co-Me.
