Prestigious promotion for Paul Alfred Grützner
Paul Alfred Grützner

PD Dr. Paul Alfred Grützner, long-time clinical research partner of Co-Me, has been elected medical director of the Department of Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery at the Katharinenhospital in Stuttgart, Germany. We congratulate our colleague on this prestigious promotion.

During his tenure as executive head surgeon at the BG Unfallklinik Ludwigshafen Mr. Grützner was strongly involved in the Co-Me Phase I project "Minimally invasive surgical approaches in orthopaedics". He is regarded as one of Europe's leading trauma surgeons and researchers with a list of publications spanning more than 200 titles.

Paul Alfred Grützner started his new position on August 1st of this year. The topic of his inaugural lecture (held on August 12th, 2006) is fittingly titled "Computer Assisted Trauma Surgery - The Digital Revolution?".
