On March 3, 2007 the new Biomaterials Science Center of the
University of Basel will present its activities during a day long
symposium and open house. The newly elected Thomas Straumann Chairman
of Materials Science in Medicine and former Co-Me CEO Bert Müller, PhD
is cordially inviting colleagues and interested parties to this
day-long event.
During the symposium, the full spectrum of research activities will be
presented in order to demonstrate the potential of biomaterials
science to a diverse audience, includ- ing university students,
industry professionals, local physicians and international partners.
Talks from four well-known medical and engineering experts will
highlight the current state of the art in biomaterials science.
During the Open House, BMC students and partners will present their
activities in a poster session.
