Co-Me congratulates Prof. Dr. med Marco Caversaccio. He has received the "Lifetime Achievement Award 2008 for Excellence in Computer Aided Surgery around the Head" at the 5th International Conference on Computer Aided Surgery around the Head in Leipzig, Germany.
Furthermore his group was awarded the 1st Price at the 95th Spring-Assembly of the Swiss Society of ORL, Head and Neck Surgery, Zug, Switzerland, for a study on the "Reduction of CT-radiation in Computer Aided, Endoscopic Paranasal Sinus Surgery".
Marco Caversaccio is leader of Co-Me Project 3 Computer-aided surgery around the head. He has also recently been named an Associate Professor of the Department of Oto-Rhino- Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the Inselspital Bern.
