The first Swiss-Swedish R&T Workshop on Image Processing,
Visualization and Modeling took place from the 9th-10th of March 2009 at
the ARTORG Center of the University of Bern.
Over 40 high-level participants from the Swedish Embassy in Berne,
Vinnova (the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems), the
Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research, The Knowledge Foundation,
the Swedish Trade Council, Saab AB and from Co-Me gathered at the
ARTORG Center of the University of Bern.
After initial presentations from Swiss and Swedish academic leaders
bilateral "speed dating" meetings took place between research groups
from both nations in order to determine fields of common interest and
competence. The intention of this first event of its kind was to find
concrete co-operation possibilities between Swedish and Swiss
researchers, institutes and industry participants.
