KB Medical raises CHF 4 Million

KB Medical SA, a Co-Me start-up company developing new innovative solutions for robotic assisted surgeries, has raised CHF 4.0 million from private investors in a Series A Financing.
"This funding was the starting shot for the incorporation of KB Medical SA and is a clear endorsement of the innovative developments and demonstrated success of former researchers from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology based in Lausanne). We will now be able to accelerate our industrialization plans and introduce robotic surgery that both improves clinical outcomes and reduces the cost of health care", said Philippe Bérard, KB Medical's CEO.
