SNSF Professorship for Moritz Tannast
Moritz Tannast

The NCCR Co-Me congratulates Moritz Tannast, orthopedic surgeon at the University Hospital Bern and former member of the NCCR Co-Me: He was awarded an SNSF professorship at the Vetsuisse Faculty of the University of Zurich for his research project "Femoroacetabular impingement - From an Experimental Sheep Model to Patient Care".

Moritz Tannast is one of 44 successful applicants out of 248 in 2012. The professorships of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) enable junior researchers with several years of recognized research experience to make a significant step forward in their academic careers. The funding period of 4 years enables an SNSF professor to establish a research team and to implement a research project.
