We have developed a complete orthopaedic positioning system for Total Hip Replacement based on a hip resurfacing implant made by Midland Medical Technologies (UK). The system processes 2D CT scans, transforming the images into 3D graphical models (pelvis and femur), which are used for pre-operative implant planning.
