Real-time soft tissue modelling

Sphere-link model for real-time deformation
Medial-axis and particle models

Since 2002, we have been developing a 3D graphics library for simulating soft tissues (including deformation), skeletal, and muscle structures. This library includes a general framework for resolving multiple contacts between multi-body systems, medial axis skeleton generation, particle models, and real-time deformation. During 2004, we developed methods for automatic model update and shadow rendering in collaboration with Stanford University and the ETHZ BIWI Lab.
