Surgeon-computer interaction

M/ORIS computer vision
Test of visual gesture mouse (Inselspital, Bern)

The M/ORIS project is investigating how non-contact interfaces can be used in surgical environments, particularly to enable higher levels of interaction between surgeons and computerized medical equipment. Using computer vision, the M/ORIS system will enable surgeons to operate computers using hand-gestures and will provide support through automatic activity recognition.
